Wilde and Woollard Brisbane have been appointed as Audit Quantity Surveyor for the $265M Queensland Health Satellite Hospital Program.
The program will see 7 Satellite Hospitals constructed in SE Qld at Caboolture, Kallangur, Bribie Island, Redlands, Tugun, Ripley and a yet to be confirmed Brisbane South location.
Each facility will provide healthcare services that are more appropriately delivered in the community, closer to home and in a more convenient setting, and:
- will deliver a range of services informed by the needs of the community
- incorporate outpatient community-based healthcare services with virtual healthcare opportunities to service the local community
- will offer simple day-therapy services such as complex wound management and care for minor injuries and illnesses.
Hutchison Builders are the Managing Contractor with a multi-consultant design documentation team including Conrad Garget Architects and Fulton Trotter Architects.
The program is due for construction commencement in early 2022.
