St Vincent's and Mater Health new Clinic houses more than 50 consulting rooms for some of the nation's leading specialists in orthopaedic surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as cardiology and cardiovascular surgery.

Importantly, the addition of three new sophisticated operating theatres in the clinic provide a timely increase to the Mater's surgical capacity building on the hospital's reputation as one of Sydney's leading surgical facilities.

In designing the four-storey clinic, the architects paid specific attention to creating a building that has the ability to carry out sophisticated clinical endeavours at the same time as sensitively fitting into the streetscape of a residential street.
